RULES & REGULATIONS

Welcome to the Sinnissippi Rod and Gun Club. We hope you enjoy your membership. The following Rules and Regulations pertain to the use and operations of the Club. All of the following Rules and Regulations have been approved by the Board with the intent of the safety and enjoyment for all club members, guests, and public. Many of the following are no more than common sense and common courtesy. Your cooperation in implementing and following these rules is appreciated by the Board. If a member or their guest(s) violate any of these rules and regulations at any time, said violation may be reviewed by the Sinnissippi Rod & Gun Club Board of Directors and pending said review, the offending member’s membership may be terminated without any refund of membership dues. For any further club information or questions please contact a Board Member, Committee Chairman or Officer. Phone numbers will be posted by the phone located downstairs.
GENERAL RULES
1. Motor vehicles shall be driven on designated roadways and parking lots only, except in the campground area where vehicles may be parked on grassy or in proper areas.
2. NO snowmobiles, ATV’s, mini bikes or golf carts are allowed.
3. Vehicles shall always be driven at a safe speed so as not to endanger people, property or to cause damage to roadways and parking lots.
4. All vehicles, recreational trailers and recreational vehicles on club property must be legally licensed at ALL times with the exception of club property. Members may be asked at ANY time to provide valid proof of license by any Officer of the Club or the Campground Chairman.
5. NO hunting or trapping on Club property.
6. No cutting of live trees is allowed except with prior approval of a club Officer or Grounds Committee Chairman.
7. A guest of a PAID member may use the campground one weekend per year and the indoor / outdoor range up to three times per year. This limitation does not apply to the open or public shooting matches. (See camping and shooting regulations for any limitations.)
8. The Board recognizes that accidents can happen which can cause damage to Club property. Any damage should be reported as soon as possible to any Board Member or appropriate Committee Chairman. Reimbursement to the Club for repairing damage shall be decided on a case by case basis considering all of the circumstance. Failure to report any damage will result in the member automatically being held responsible for the cost of the repair.
9. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
10. Members are responsible for the safety and conduct of their children and guests.
11. Use common sense in the use of electricity and heat. Utilities are one of the major expenses
incurred by the Club yet are controlled by the members. Do Not run “it” if you do not need “it.”
Turn “it” off when you are done.
12. Keep the facilities clean. ALWAYS PICK UP after your use of Club facilities.
13. The dumpster is for Club and Campground use only, not for personal use. Fire pit is for Club
use only.
14. The front gate is to prevent trespassing and unauthorized use of the Club. If you are the last one to leave, lock the gate behind you so long as no other members are present, and the campground is closed.
15. The phone, located downstairs, has a 900 block on it and we have no long-distance service. The phone will make local calls only. FOR EMERGENCIES DIAL 911. To report a problem with something at the Club please refer to numbers posted by the phone.
16. First aid kit is located downstairs across from the phone.
17. No sales of alcohol on Club property
18. Alcohol is allowed in the campground ONLY. Open packages of alcohol are NOT allowed outside the campground.
19. No excessive consumption of alcohol on Club property.
20. No paintball guns allowed on Club grounds.
CAMPGROUND
1. We have thirteen spots designated by the Campground Committee for permanent campers, which are rented for the entire summer. Temporary locations for members and guest will be designated by the Campground Committee. Temporary campers shall remove all campers (RV’s) after 10 consecutive days, for a period of at least 10 days. See camping committee for daily fees and locations.
2. Existing members have priority over non-members in regard to vacant campsites. If no members desire a vacant campsite, said campsite will be offered to the public on a first come-first serve basis.
3. All campers who wish to renew their campsite must complete all appropriate documentation and pay their annual membership dues, camping fees and storage fees prior to April 15 of each year.
4. Trailers, boats, or RVs may be stored in camping area during the summer. All trailers, boats, RVs and items must be removed at end of the season. Trailers, boats, RVs may be moved to winter storage area on a PREPAY basis. Please contact a club Officer for payment arrangements. Only permanent campers will be allowed to use the storage area. (Please Note General Rule #4.)
5. Camping is only allowed in the Campground areas without prior approval from the Board.
6. The Board STRONGLY recommends that all children under age 12 and any other individual who is not a strong swimmer wear a proper Personal Floatation Device when near the river. The river has strong currents and is extremely dangerous.
7. No swimming allowed. There are no lifeguards and the river bank and bottom adjacent to the Club property have not been made safe for swimming.
8. Absolutely no shooting of any kind in the Campground area.
9. No discharge of gray water onto the Campground is allowed. All holding tanks shall be in place when a unit is in the Campground.
10. Quiet time for the Campground is 10:00 PM. Have respect for other campers; please keep noise to a minimum.
11. Reminder to all Campers: Please be conservative on power usage, this will keep rates down.
12. Camping fees and other campground information will be established by the Campground Committee. (See posted fees or the Campground Chairman.)
13. Campers who use air conditioners and/or electric heaters will be subject to an extra fee on top of the campground fee. (See posted fees or the Campground Chairman.)
14. Please burn all paper items in your fire pit, this will help save on dumpster fees. When burning please be aware of weather conditions (wind, drought, etc.).
15. One behaved dog per campsite. If your dog disturbs others you may be asked to remove your dog. You are responsible for cleaning up after your dog. Dogs must be kept on a leash and unable to roam Campground area.
16. No blocking of/or parking on the boat ramp.
OUTDOOR SHOTGUN RANGE
1. Anyone using or apparently under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances will not be permitted in the outdoor or indoor range area. Anyone handling a firearm in an unsafe manner shall be required to leave the range area.
2. Absolutely no rifles, pistols, or shotguns with slugs or single projectile loads shall be shot anywhere outside. No larger than 7 1/2 or 8 shot size shall be used. NO exceptions.
3. Shotguns with shot loads may be fired on the still target range and trap range.
4. Shot from the trap range shall not carry into the campground area. Only AA trap loads, or equivalent loads may be used.
5. Prior to shooting on the trap range:
a. Notify any campers in the campground.
b. Verify the impact area is clear; children sometimes play in the wood area.
c. Use the two East pads when not in designated shoot.
6. Shotguns will remain unloaded until the shooter is on a firing point and facing down range. When changing points, entering or leaving the firing lines shotguns must be unloaded and actions open.
7. All shotguns must be in safe working condition and meet all legal requirements.
8. All firearm safety rules shall be followed.
9. Only standard clay or paper targets are allowed.
10. When finished shooting, clean up any boxes, hulls, targets, etc. prior to leaving the area.
INDOOR PISTOL RANGE
1. Anyone using or apparently under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances will not be permitted in the indoor or outdoor ranges.
2. Organized shooting and events shall take precedence over open shooting. No firing on the indoor range when the upstairs is in use for a scheduled activity or during a scheduled trap shoot.
3. No loud talking, abusive language, distracting actions, etc. are permitted on or near the firing line.
4. In organized or competitive shooting, follow range officer commands. The range officer is in charge and will enforce all rules.
5. The following types of ammunition are not allowed:
a. Center fire rifle caliber
b. Black powder arms
c. Handguns in rifle caliber.
d. .17 rifle caliber
6. Cowboy rifles in pistol caliber are allowed. Carbine rifles in pistol caliber are also allowed.
7. Lead bullets are recommended; light loads of jacketed bullets may be allowed. If your load is causing any damage to the back stop, STOP SHOOTING.
8. No metal piercing, steel shot, tracer, incendiary, gas, explosive, or specialty ammunition is permitted.
9. Magnum handgun loads are allowed but are discouraged from use.
10. Rimfire rifles are permitted. (.22 caliber ONLY)
11. All firearms must be in safe working condition and meet all legal requirements.
12. No eating, drinking, or smoking is allowed in the range area.
13. Anyone handling a firearm in an unsafe or careless manner will be required to leave the range.
14. Adequate eye and ear protection must be worn on or near the range at all times.
15. Firearms shall be unloaded until the shooter is at a firing point and facing downrange.
16. Firearms must be holstered, cased, rack, or have actions open when not in use.
17. All firearms should be pointed downrange in a safe direction at all times.
18. Only paper targets are allowed. No cans, bottles, exploding targets, clay birds, pins, etc. are allowed.
19. Please use exhaust and intake fans to reduce the amount of airborne lead inside the range area.
20. Make sure the line is safe with firearms empty, holstered or actions open on the bench before anyone goes forward of the firing line.
21. Do not handle firearms while anyone is in front of the firing line. Do not handle another shooter’s firearm without permission. Do not leave firearms unattended or out of your site on the firing line.
22. Dry firing is permitted only on the firing line with the muzzle pointed down range, (safe direction) or in an area so designated by the range officer.
23. Shotguns may use lead shot only. Shotguns will remain unloaded until the shooter is on a firing point and facing downrange. When changing points, entering or leaving the line shotguns will be unloaded and actions open.
24. When finished, clean up any brass, old targets, boxes, etc., sweep up the area, turn off the lights, fans, heat and lock all doors.
25. Please wash your hands after the use of the range to remove any lead residue before you eat or drink.

Fps limits: with (.20) 400+ semi auto only (unless lmg) will be given range limits. (Dmr) Fps 440-500 min engagement is 30 yards. (Sniper) 500- 550 min engagement is 50 yards. At chronograph station we will run off of joules if your gun is running too hot you will be assigned a range limit. And a zip tie designating (limitations or not).
Pistols will also have to be chronographed to determine whether or not they can be used in close kill scenarios.
FPS for pistols will be 350 with .20
Rifleman Class- 1.49 joules
Sniper Class- 2.81 joules
DMR Class-1.88 joules
Air operated systems need to be able to be locked
All weapons need to be chronographed before entering the field. Each gun will be tagged with high visibility tags that are not to be removed during the event
Bang Bang rule!- 10ft or if you have the clear drop on somebody and do not want to injure somebody! There is some leeway for pistols on this since they shoot at a lower fps. But ABSOLUTELY NO RIFLES THIS CLOSE! Please don't abuse the bang bang rule It is there for your safety!
NO FULL AUTO with rifles 20ft or closer! We don't want eye pro to fail!

FRIENDLY FIRE COUNTS!
Ricochets do not count as hit!
Do not hide behind “dead” players.
CALL YOUR HITS.
Dead players do not TALK or gesture!
Please clean up after yourself and do your best to police the trash on your area before leaving.
Animals cannot shoot back, so leave them alone. You will be immediately ejected from the game if you are found abusing the wildlife!
DO NOT REMOVE YOUR GOGGLES! At any time while on the field.
If you step off the field for any reason during a match or scenario you will not be permitted back on the field SO TAKE WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO YOUR SPAWN! I.e. water, BBs, extra gun or battery.
If there is something that needs to be brought to attention such as people that need to be pared up for medical reasons. Or (father and son) because son is underage and is nervous about being alone. Please let the game admin know early on thanks!
No firing into or out of marked respawn area at all. No spawn camping! If one team is clearly being spawn trapped. The admin will either pull the opposing team back or call the game as it is since the one team was making no advancement. Please don't become upset just simply wait in the respawn until admin Ethier force kills, or calls for a mandatory fall back on.
The spawn campers, or resets the game!
And remember it's just a game everyone is out here to have fun!
Medic rules: some scenarios will allow for a medic or buddy aid. To be buddy aided the player still I'm play must grab onto the downed player for 10 seconds. If a downed player is to be moved by the medic they must be touching them. At any time the medic, let's go of the downed play must stop moving immediately.

Animals cannot shoot back, so leave them alone. You will be immediately ejected from the game if you are found abusing the wildlife!
DO NOT REMOVE YOUR GOGGLES! At any time while on the field.
If you step off the field for any reason during a match or scenario you will not be permitted back on the field SO TAKE WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO YOUR SPAWN! I.e. water, BBs, extra gun or battery.
If there is something that needs to be brought to attention such as people that need to be pared up for medical reasons. Or (father and son) because son is underage and is nervous about being alone. Please let the game admin know early on thanks!
No firing into or out of marked respawn area at all. No spawn camping! If one team is clearly being spawn trapped. The admin will either pull the opposing team back or call the game as it is since the one team was making no advancement. Please don't become upset just simply wait in the respawn until admin Ethier force kills, or calls for a mandatory fall back on.
The spawn campers, or resets the game!
And remember it's just a game everyone is out here to have fun!
Medic rules: some scenarios will allow for a medic or buddy aid. To be buddy aided the player still I'm play must grab onto the downed player for 10 seconds. If a downed player is to be moved by the medic they must be touching them. At any time the medic, let's go of the downed play must stop moving immediately.
